Do you have experience in medical devices?
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our team at our site just of J27 of the M1.
The purpose of the role is to assume full ownership for driving the quality management system and compliance and escalating any challenges which arise. You will also be responsible for controlling and conducting necessary audits, maintenance and improvements to the QMS which will reduce any possible exposure or non-compliance.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensure quality procedures are adhered to at all times
- Consider new ways to implement effective processes
- Liaising directly with production, suppliers and regulatory colleagues to raise any quality concerns
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the QMS matches work practices
- Organise regular quality inspections, with the necessary paperwork and documentation
- Produce reports including cost of waste
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in quality management systems for the manufacture of medical devices and an understanding of the chemistry
- Background in Medical Devices
- Knowledge of BS EN ISO 13485:2016 and IVDD/IVDR
- Understanding of relevant accreditations
- Previous experience of quality, audits, and compliance
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and positive; a resilient problem solver with considerations for continuous improvement
- Confidence with using Microsoft Office.
